Extra Magic? or Extra Screwed?

Dear Mr. Iger,

What is the freakin point of posting extra magic hours six months in advance for the purpose of planning your Disney Vacation when you are just going to change them later?

Six months before I left for my vacation, I looked at the Extra Magic hours and made my Advance Dining Reservations in accordance with the theme park listed.  For example, if Animal Kingdom had EM hours listed for Sunday, I made my ADR in AK on Sunday.

You can imagine my disappointment when I got to Old Key West only to find that the AK Extra Magic had been changed from Sunday to another day.  (AND my Hollywood Studio plans had also been switched to a different day).  And of course it was a peak travel week and I was unable to change my ADR's to include my planned dining experiences to match the  new extra magic hours listed.

So I had to have dinner in one park and then travel all the way to the other park for the Extra Magic Hours.

It's frustrating and annoying and it happens nearly EVERY time I plan a trip!!!!

So do something about this!

Thanks,
-B

"Smart" DVR

Surely you know someone in the DVR business.  I'd like a TiVo or DVR that is "smart".  I'd like it to know when my favorite shows are being pre-empted by some sort presidential address, or a sports game going into overtime.  This way I won't miss the first or last 15 minutes of the show.

Thanks!
